How do I make a payment?

There are many payment options available including online credit card and bank draft, automatic monthly bank draft or payments can be made in person or placed in the drop box at 100 Rogers Street.  See the "online bill pay" button on our home page for details.

Can I have my monthly invoice emailed to me?

Yes, just complete the paperless billing application and have your monthly city fee invoice sent directly to your inbox.

Can I have my bill paid automatically?

Yes, just complete an automatic bank draft application and have your city fees drafted from your bank account on the 5th of each month.

I have just bought or sold property. How do I get the city fees associated with the property changed?

A copy of the recorded deed is required to change ownership of property.

Do I have to use city garbage service?

Residential customers must use city garbage service.  Commercial customers have the option of using city garbage service or any other sanitation service that is licensed to operate within the City of Bluefield.

Where do I pay my property taxes?

Real estate and personal property taxes are invoiced by the Mercer County Assessor and collected by the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.  You may reach them by calling (304) 487-8363.
