Job Summary
The Yoga Instructors lead classes and provide instruction on the various philosophies and practices of yoga. They develop lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, and offer guidance to ensure that members are performing movements correctly and avoiding injury.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
Design and plan yoga sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of the members
Instruct members on the different yoga postures and techniques
Monitor members during sessions and adjust their positions as needed
Provide guidance and support to members, ensuring their safety and comfort during the practice
Explain and demonstrate breathing exercises and meditation practices
Promote the benefits of regular yoga practice, such as increased flexibility, better stress management, and improved overall health
Maintain a clean, safe, and serene studio environment
Stay updated with new yoga techniques, styles, and teaching methods
SAFETY & RISK MANAGEMENT:
Adheres to all safety policies, rules and standard operating procedures established by Parks and Recreation.
Inspects, corrects and maintains the workstation/environment to ensure it is free from hazards or unsafe conditions.
Reports all injuries and accidents, no matter how minor, immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
Immediately reports all observed unsafe acts and conditions to the supervisor.
Always report to working in an acceptable condition, not under the influence of any substance that could inhibit the ability to work safety or efficiently.

Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Possess or be willing to learn sales skills.
Ability to self-promote and network.
1-2 years related experience preferred.
Certification requirements include, within 30 days of hire, CPR/AED and First Aid; Child Abuse Prevention.

Job Summary
The Lifeguard maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.

The public works laborer performs tasks involving physical labor jobs around the city. This position must have the ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools to perform duties including shoveling, sweeping, raking, mechanical assistance, lifting, pushing, and pulling of various objects. This position must have the ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions and other duties as assigned per supervisor. A CDL license will be an asset to the job.

Physical ability to perform garbage pick-up, mow, trim, leaf removal, snow removal, and other general labor duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Help to maintain a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

Job Summary
Child Watch Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, clean, caring, fun and enriching environment for our member's children to enjoy while they parents use our Fitness Center facility. All Child Watch staff will be responsible for the overall successful day-to-day running of the Child Watch program, as well as be responsible for high-quality childcare. Provides a quality experience to children and parents.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for the safety of the children, classroom, and all activities at all times
Assures parents are signing in children properly and presenting identification
Develops and implements activities for the children and attentively watches and attends to the children
Supervises and interacts with children at play
Encourage sportsmanship and positive peer interactions
Completes required cleaning and organizing of the Child Watch room to maintain program site and equipment, maintains clean environment, performs custodial duties as required or assigned to include body fluid cleanup, sanitizing area, and light housekeeping
Maintains required program records
Ensures safe play conditions and follows established security procedures
Treats children if injured and completes an accident report; reports to parents and supervisor
Attend staff meetings and trainings as needed
Responds to questions and concerns from parents and refers them to the Director as needed
Must be able to establish and maintain relationships with other staff members, leaders, volunteers, members, participants, parents, and the general public
Know, educate and enforce Child Watch rules and policies to members and parents
