Recovery Point's Community Outreach Program

This campaign is a partnership between the City of Bluefield and Recovery Point to assist our friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens in improving the overall quality of life for everyone in our community. Bluefield is in a great place to grow and is leading the country in innovative businesses and efforts to rejuvenate the city. This program is designed to touch every citizen, provide additional assistance where we can, and build stronger bonds in our community. We are all fortunate enough to live in West Virginia, and part of our cultural history is our close-knit and tight communities. This program will reinforce that culture and pass it on to our younger generation.

On this website, you will find a job order work form. I ask you to look at it and find a friend or neighbor in need and assist the community in lending a helping hand. The City of Bluefield is committed to integrating efforts to improve the lives of our citizens through this program.

The task can be as simple as trash pickup, weeding and mowing lawns. We ask you to describe the need, and we will work together to address it. It all starts with us. Once the form is submitted, a team from the City of Bluefield will assess the work order and let the community liaison or individual know the date of the work, and a team from the city will come to assist. Our teams are ready.

It is my honor to be a part of the Bluefield Team, and I very much appreciate everyone in this community. Let’s join together and take care of each other. If you have any questions, contact City Hall. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Cecil Marson, City Manager
